“ What Is Stress”

The author, Seal (1997) defined stress is physical and emotional consequence of a stressor. There are many kind of stressors, like tornadoes and diseases, which can give us stress, and we have to overcome these things to solve these problems. Hans Seyle, who is the Canadian physiologist, divided type of stress reaction in 3 stages, which we call general adaptation syndrome. First, when you are in serious problem you noticed it by Alarm Reaction. Second, you notice about problem then you tried to evade from the problem. We call this Resistance. Finally, if we evade from the problem we back to our normal life. However, if not, our physical and mental powers are damaged by the problem. He explained these things in his research. But he explained that it is different between animals and humans. For humans it is easier than for animals to change the reaction about stress by personal thinking or ideas. So humans are more complex than animals in regard to stress.
